The journal Bewegen & Hulpverlening is a Dutch multidisciplinary journal published in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), under ISSN 0168-9711. It is dedicated to practice and theory of Movement and Psychomotor Therapy, and is sponsored by the Faculty of Movement Sciences of the Free University of Amsterdam.
A direct, simple and graphic way to present the physical characteristics of the basic emotions is through “decision trees” as employed by expert systems for analysis of decisions.
In the case of Alba Emoting, such decision trees permit to describe and to differentiate in detail, the physical characteristics of the breathing patterns, the postural attitudes and the facial traits for each of studied basic emotions.
The resulting, charts being graphically more explicit, are very useful when learning to reproduce them.
